Abu Hanifa
Abu Hanifa was a Muslim scholar, jurist, theologian, ascetic, and eponym of the Hanafi school of Sunni jurisprudence, which remains the most widely practiced to this day. His school predominates in Central and South Asia, Turkey, Africa, the Balkans, Russia, and some parts of the Arab world. Born: 699 AD, Kufa, Iraq. Died: June 14, 767 AD (age 68 years), Baghdad, Iraq
